It's Christmas Time..

Dear Readers,

It actually saddens me to see the length between these blog posts is increasing dramatically when it's something i love so much and really want to do on a regular basis. I would like to take this opportunity to actually apologise to those of you who do take the time to visit this blog and read the posts here. College is getting harder and harder and the work load is getting heavier and heavier so until March, my posts will be few and far between. But i will be back! In the mean time i will try to post any great offers that you need to know about on twitter @clearingout so please check us out there and don't forget about us!

Christmas is the most wonderful time of year as the song says and i am in total agreement. Not only is everyone happy and loving life; the clothes are most incredible at this time of year with everyone out to impress!

Black, red and sparkle are the traditional christmassy clothing colours so i am going to do my best to find the best of what's out there at the best prices than you can find/order before it gets TOO close!

Working 9 to 5.

...What an excuse to look stylish!

Before i start this post, i would like it known that i'm not deluded! I know that getting up at 7/7.30 every morning is tough because i do it myself! However I truly believe that your choice of outfit can really have an impact on your day. You are much more likely to be happy, positive and productive if you are styling up that office like you're not Ugly Betty! For want of a better comparison!

Below i have just chosen some outfits that are pretty, stylish, appropriate and above all versatile! I value the importance of putting one outfit to many uses as i've said many a time! Tights are one's best friend for changing up an outfit! Not to mention shoes! 

To warb you though, some of these outfits are just styling suggestions as many are sale items and only available in limited sizes but don't worry i'll make you aware of which ones and there's always Penneys who are bound to have something similiar!

A tip for Irish readers!

It might apply to the rest of you too though as there is sure to be an equivalent in your home land!

If you are in Ireland, go to adverts.ie now! This link will take you directly to the clothing section where there are thousands or items for sale, new and used at a fraction of the price you would have paid in store! Many sellers also offer a swap service which enables you to create a whole new wardrobe at no cost while clearing out your own! Incredible, right?

Fashionably Late...

I drafted this entry a few weeks ago and with my ever mounting assignments, never got to finish it! I intend to in due course but unfortunately i am being distracted! I hope this assists some of you despite it's delay and i will be back soon. Enjoy!

College is back with a vengence!

I just started my final year at college this week and as i anticipate the stress building up over the months ahead, what i find always helps is.. SHOPPING.

You know what i'm like!

What i want to spend my money on is stylish, cheap and easy to put together outfits at 7am.

Yes, 7am. I know, right!

These outfits are going to revolve around my usual purchases, basic with a bit of Ooomph!

First stop, the ultimate in cheap: Penneys.

I was in Dundrum Town Center in Dublin last week and Penneys was good to me and my very diminishing back balance!

Gorgeous (and i'm not being biased just because they ended up in my wardrobe) skinnies for €11! ELEVEN EUROS! Amazing.

They are also super soft which seems to be a major trend lately if Miss Selfridge and Topshop jeans are anything to go by aswell.

I also picked up a pair that are just as fabulous for €15.

Also, Penneys are stocking coloured jeans that just pop. And those of you going 'pop.....?', I mean as in an outfit popping, you know... standing out? Okay, we're all on the same page now! Good!

I would love love love to have pics to show you, why oh why are you not online Penneys? Do us all a favour! Although if memory serves me correctly, it may be happening. Although i possibly made that up. :)

But if you have ever believed anything to come from this blog (it is all true btw!), believe me when i type that Penneys has got to be your one stop shop for all things jeans and maybe even all things trousers related as your wardrobe will be swimming with fab before you can say 'i'm not even overdrawn'. Promise.

Next stop, just down the road at A|wear or http://www.awear.com/.

There's even a sale on as usual! And a lot of it is new season! Or close enough to! A bit more noticeable on your pocket than Penneys finest, but not a whole lot and it's not as mass produced which means every second girl in your class won't show up in it! Which is always a plus. Am'a right!?

But don't let that put you off Penneys (especially considering the ode to it above), just get your basics there! As I've mentioned an uncountable amount of times! I always practice what i preach and it works for me!

Do you have stars in your eyes?

My answer to that question is no, but apparently i am in a minority as a lot of people and brands seem to be embracing the starry trend that appears to be in our midst.

I'm not afraid to talk about my love of Penneys but Primark on Oxford Street in London kicks Penneys sweet ass.

If you can, go there as soon as possible. My spending of £119.90 says it all!

You will find the most adorable addresses, colour block heels and brogues (i got black and mustard ones!).

Oh and the most adorable and stylish winter coats! Get ready for A/W 11. It's gonna b awesome.

Now, off to Oxford Street with you. I promise, you won't regret it! Worth the plane fare alone for Irish ladies particularly looking to shop, shop, shop!

An effective styling tip for those of us always rushing!

This post is just to shar a simple tip with you that i used myself yesterday.

The perfect outfit when you're stuck for time and have to transfer from day time chic to night time glam.

Denim Shorts:

I wore a pair from Forever 21 that I've had for awhile.

You can find a pair here! I recommend something similar to the ones below!

Denim Short - €19.75

Wear with black tights from Penneys/Dunnes Stores for €3 on a cold summers night or an even colder winter night!

Day Time:

I wore a beige v neck tee from H&M that only cost me €5.95, i find you can't go wrong with inexpensive staples! A tee like this one below will do also for a casual day time look.
